The Wanderers welcome North London opposition New Salamis to The Doucy this week (3pm kick off) as the run of home games continue to come thick and fast. Originally scheduled to be an away fixture, New Salamis asked for the game to be reversed due to their ground being unavailable this Saturday as landlords Haringey Borough (who we meet at The Doucy on 31st October) are in cup action.
New Salamis are no strangers to Wanderers, with both sides having their only ever previous meeting just two years ago in the FA Vase. The fortunes of Wanderers have changed considerably since then and we now find ourselves in league action against the Londoners who sit just one place below us in the league. Both teams come into the game following 2-2 draws in their last outings and will see this as an opportunity to get a further 3 points on the board.
Glen and the team will be looking to continue the current unbeaten run, although we needed a late wonder strike by Tyler Corlett to share the spoils with local rivals Stowmarket Town last Saturday. An impressive crowd saw the game finish in a draw with both sets of fans in good number and good voice.
We look forward to seeing you all at The Doucy again on Saturday and appreciate the support you give the lads and the club each and every week.
