Welcome to Andy Skinner

We’re delighted to announce that Andy Skinner has joined the Executive Board of Ipswich Wanderers Football Club.

Andy is a well-known local businessman, founding AMS Business Consultants in April 2020 and creating the Start Build Grow programme, which has provided business support to over 900 organisations locally.

His passion for grassroots football runs deep – he’s been a coach for the past 12 years and joined Wanderers at the start of last season to lead our U18s SSYL Saturday side. Under his guidance, the team achieved a fantastic second place in the league and lifted the Essex Open Cup.

This season, Andy has stepped into the U23s Thurlow Nunn coaching team and is already very much “one of our own”. Now, he’ll also be making an impact off the pitch – helping to feed the first team with young talent while bringing his organisational and leadership skills to the club’s wider vision.

Andy is passionate about strengthening our place in the local community and driving the club forward with new commercial and business opportunities.

We can’t wait to work alongside Andy and continue this exciting journey for the Wanderers.
